About Barre: This combination of yoga, Pilates and ballet is the latest and most effective workout around. Barre improves balance while it strengthens, lengthens, stretches tones the entire body from the inside out. Classes can vary applying a different focus such as cardio barre, barre pump, isolation barre, barre flow, and barre fight (which is a fusion class combining barre with kickboxing). A barre class uses one or more of the following: light weights (1lb – 5lbs), exercise bands, Pilates ball, gliding disks, and ballet barre.
